RE-OPENING FOR CORPORATE WORSHIP ON MAY 31!
We now have In-Person AND Virtual Services!
We are excited to be resuming in-person corporate worship at Bentheim Reformed Church on May 31, and we hope that many will join us for those services, but we know that others will feel more comfortable adhering to our state's recommendation of no large group gatherings, to avoid the spread of COVID-19. So for them, and others that want to share in our worship or Pastor’s messages, we will continue to upload our services virtually. You can find those by clicking the "Virtual Services" tab on the top of this home screen. They are also available on our You Tube channel by simply searching You Tube for “Bentheim Reformed Church.
We are aware that Governor Whitmer has extended the Stay Home/Stay Safe order to June 12. Bentheim Reformed Church will be re-opening May 31 REGARDLESS of this order. This decision of the Consistory follows the recent declaration by the President of the United States that churches and houses of worship are essential to American society and may be opened immediately with appropriate safety measures.
There will be two services starting on May 31 – the first at 9:30 am and the second at 11:15 am.
· No nursery care will be available
· Wearing of face masks is encouraged but optional
· Recommended social distancing WILL be observed
· Virtual services will continue to be available on this site

To our Bentheim Church Family, and to all guests visiting our website:
This has been a very troubling and difficult time in all our lives, but living in this world as followers of Jesus Christ, we declare with joy that “our world belongs to God!” And we confess with trust that “God is our refuge and strength, our very present help in times of trouble!” (Ps. 46). We also recognize that – even though State and Federal restrictions are now lifting - we have a moral responsibility to one another to continue practicing such things as social distancing, wearing masks, and sanitizing surfaces. This helps us to live out our mutual care and concern for one another, and to love our neighbors as ourselves.
We recognize that there may be many special needs during this time…and we are here for you! For right now our staff will continue working remotely from their homes most of the time. We desire to continue serving and loving one another, and being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ in this world.
